My name is Filippo Sanò, an Italian photographer based in Sicily and founder of Photodromm.com, an international glamour and art nude photography project that has been online for more than twenty years. Throughout my career I have worked with hundreds of models from all over Europe, creating thousands of photo sets and videos published through Photodromm, magazines, calendars, books and international editorial projects. My photography is focused on beauty, natural light, elegant posing and the artistic representation of the female body. Over the years Photodromm has become one of the longest-running independent art nude photography websites in Europe, featuring hundreds of models and an archive containing hundreds of thousands of photographs and videos.

Photography Philosophy

Photography, for me, has always been a balance between reality and interpretation. Throughout my career I have developed a strong preference for outdoor photography. Beaches, cliffs, countryside landscapes, Mediterranean architecture and natural environments have become an essential part of my visual language. One of the long-term goals of Photodromm has always been to promote the beauty of Sicily to an international audience. Through photography and video, the project showcases not only the models but also the island’s extraordinary beaches, landscapes and Mediterranean atmosphere. Many visitors discover Sicilian locations through Photodromm before choosing to visit them in person. In this way, the project contributes to promoting tourism while presenting Sicily through elegant and high-quality visual storytelling. Photography, for me, is also a way to share the unique beauty of my homeland with the world. Sicilian locations have become an essential part of the Photodromm identity. Many international models visit Sicily specifically to create content for Photodromm because the island provides a unique visual atmosphere that cannot easily be replicated elsewhere in Europe. The combination of natural beauty, warm climate and exceptional light conditions allows me to create photographs throughout most of the year.

One of the elements that defines my work is the use of strong natural sunlight. While many photographers prefer soft shadows and diffused light that emphasize facial details, I am often drawn to the opposite approach. Direct sunlight can sculpt the body, enhance curves, create contrast and reveal the strength and elegance of the female form in a way that softer light sometimes cannot. For this reason many of my photographs focus not only on expression and portraiture but also on posture, movement, silhouette and body language. The human body itself becomes an important compositional element within the landscape. Every production is based on professionalism, transparency and collaboration. The girls who appear in my photographs are not treated as anonymous subjects but as individuals whose personality, confidence and unique beauty contribute to the final result. The ideal Photodromm model is not simply a beautiful woman. What I look for is a combination of beauty, femininity, sensuality, confidence and presence. Respect for women has always been one of the foundations of my work. The most successful photographs are often created when a model feels comfortable to project both elegance and a natural sense of sexuality without appearing artificial or forced. I try to create photographs that celebrate female beauty in a way that remains visually powerful, aesthetically pleasing and respectful of the women who choose to collaborate with me. After more than two decades behind the camera, this philosophy continues to guide every project I produce for Photodromm.

In addition to online publishing, my work has appeared in various editorial projects including books and calendars. These productions represent a different dimension of my photography because they focus on long-term presentation and collection value. Print remains one of the most rewarding formats for photography because it allows images to be appreciated in a more permanent and tangible form. Over the years these projects have contributed to building the Photodromm brand and expanding its audience beyond the website itself.

Video Production

Photography remains my primary focus, but video has become an increasingly important part of modern content creation. Photodromm includes an extensive archive of videos produced alongside the photo shoots. These videos provide a more immersive experience and allow viewers to appreciate the atmosphere of the productions in greater depth. Combining photography and video also creates a more complete editorial package for members.

The Future of Photodromm

The internet has changed dramatically since Photodromm was launched. Many websites have appeared and disappeared over the years, while countless trends have come and gone.  Despite these changes, the core principles behind the project remain the same:
